Here's a page about the site and me, for those who may be interested in it ^_^ Love Hotel: Oasis The birth Well, where to start... I guess I'll just tell the story from the beginning ^_^ I discovered Japanese music around March 2006. The first artists I heard was Gackt. I was very impressed. After visiting a lot of fansites I missed one thing, or one person. Chachamaru. I knew a lot of fansites but none of them was about this cute guitarist. So I started a Chachamaru fansite, CRY l Chachamaru's Romantic Yard. I wanted this to be a very complete site with a lot of information. But I discovered more artists and I wanted more. So I decided to make one site about all the artists I liked. I wanted it to be as complete as possible, and that's still my goal. So the idea was born but I needed a name to start with. I wanted something original which had something to do with Japan. A few days later I read about Love Hotels in a magazine. Typical Japanese and original! But "Love Hotel" sounds boring... So I needed a name for my Love Hotel. That wasn't difficult! I took the song I liked most from the first Japanese artist I ever heard, which is Oasis. And there it is, Love Hotel: Oasis was born! Moving or quitting. September 2008 I got bad news. MSN Groups was going to stop and unfortunately my site was hosted by MSN Groups (the link was groups.msn.com/lovehoteloasis). What did I have to do? I was looking for a replacement and just couldn't find one. I was close to desperate. Maybe I should just quit the whole thing? But I couldn't. Japanese music had become my live and I wanted to continue. A friend of mine came with a solution, buy your own domain. First I didn't want to. Isn't that to difficult? Isn't that to expensive? But I had to choose again; quitting or moving. And my decision was made very fast. After some research and thinking my domain became www.darcymaris.com and this site became a subdomain. Food: Japanese (oyakodon =3) and salads. Drinks: Coffee! I drink it too much! Music: too much! I listen to music the whole day. I'll post a few of the artists I like here. Other funny facts: * I'm a huge yaoi fan! *blush* I love it when artists love each other on stage =^_^= * I'm still in love with my teddybear xD (which I use as a pillow now). * I love body art in the meaning of make-up. The weirder the make-up, the more I like it! xD * My greates heroes are Gackt and Mana-sama. Gackt 'caus he's the first Japanese artist I knew, so he got som kind of special place in my heart. After reading his autobiography I got so much respect for him. And he's the most horny man alive o_0. Mana-sama because he's... well Mana-sama. I just cannot explain why. It's that whole air of mystery he has around him. The way he 'speaks', the way he behaves, the way he creates, the way he thinks... I just recpect and love him so much! And by the way; he's the most beautiful women and the most handsome man ever xD Darcy's live: Is not special enough to put down here. So I will not bore you with that.
