Hi dearest Oasis visitors!
First of all a Very Belated Happy New Year!!! Did you all light firework? I did, in Austria to be excact! I went snowboarding, it was fun!!! Did you do something special? There is another thing which we should not forget! Oasis' birthday! 16th Januari Oasis grew another year older! 2 years old we are now! *gives everyone a cake* So why am I this late with posting such a cheerful message? Well, same as last time; examens! Annoying, ne? I will be rid of them for a while now! In March will be the next round! And then in May. And after that? FREEDOM! Concerning that, I have another cheerful message! Darcy Maris is going to Japan summer 2010! I'm looking forward to it very much! But back to Oasis! At this moment I'm: - continuing oploading lyrics at CRY. - busy changing the lay-out of the artists pages at Oasis. - helping our dearest Kassandra with her own website which is yet to be completed. - searching for information about GPKISM. Today I want to discuss a serious issue with you. In my country lives a politician called Geert Wilders. A man who has earned the respect of many people. A man who has earned my hate! To put it simple, he has one solution for every problem in life. Ban all the Moroccans from this country! I beg your pardon? Normally I wouldn’t discuss a topic like this on the site but at the moment I really feel that it’s necessary. It seems like we have forgotten that we are all humans! What about us, visitors of this site. We love Japanese artists, do we discriminate them? Hell no! Are they less than I am? Hell no! Why would Moroccans be less than I am? They are not! People seem to forget that we are all humans with the need to eat, to shower, to sleep, to care for our family and the ones we love. Moroccans feel so too, Japanese feel so too, American feel so too. Yes, there are criminals amongst them. But there are Dutch criminals too! There’s always a little group who screws it for the rest of them. Recently Geert Wilders has visited the USA. I heard he got a lot of support there too. Now I ask of you. Do you want a new Hitler? Someone who gathers the ‘outcasts’ and tries to make a “pure blank race”. Do you want to make another person’s life hell? Are you arrogant enough to think you are more important than all the other people who also care about their family? Please, be smart. We know that there is a smart group who screws it up for the rest, let’s not blame the whole group but only them. We know that they have feelings too! Let’s try to not hurt them. Autumn... A strange season.
On one hand the season of death. On the other hand the season of new life. Some celebrate the coming of darkness, some celebrate the coming of a new year. So do I. I celebrate two things today! The fact that I finally learned an extreme difficult HTML part which makes it (finally) possible to post lyrics and, more important!, the contest! As you can see above, the contest is online! I'm so proud of it! Oasis also has a new partnersite, SECRET GARDEN. A Jrock blog. Visit them here! I also want to point out something else today. Life isn't only bright things, though I do like to believe so. A few days ago someone who was dear to one of the most amazing persons I know passed away. My dear was very sad because of it and so was I. Not only because he was sad but also because I realised how fragile life is. That's maybe the most important thing I want to tell you this evening. Please enjoy your life! Life is like a butterfly. Beautiful but fragile! Don't ruin other's life, try to enjoy yours as much as you can. Appreciate every single smile and every little lear you shed! How are you doing? Today I decided the visitors of Oasis are the most amazing people in the world! You guys just keep visiting! It's amazing!! :3 I wub you! :3 Today we celebrate Halloween in my country. Children go from house to house to sing a song and get candies. Cute, ne? I've done it too once, I sang I song I had made myself together with a friend and we were dressed up as vampires (and looked ridiculous but ok xD). Thinking back to that time... I was so cute! x3 So are you guys celebrating Halloween? I hope you enjoy(ed) today!!! ^_^ I'm here to introduce our new journalist. At the moment he'll just watch for news about DIO and The Candy Spooky Theater, maybe he'll do more in the future? Who knows! Malice Mizer pages updated!
Hi dears,
I updated the Malice Mizer pages, they're now changed into the new lay-out!! Next to that I added little information to the pages of Kφzi and Mana-sama! :3 Please read them! I also want to change direction a bit with Oasis! All the companies are being very difficult with copyrights at the moment. It's getting harder and harder for me to put up pictures. Not only because I cannot find a good web album, also because I just am not allowed to. But of course I do want something as replacement! Some of you know that I've worked for the newspaper as journalist, well I will continue being a journalist! I will take interviews for this site! Next to that I will also collect interviews others has done! For this I still have to learn some difficult HTML (which I still haven't done, shame on me!!) so it might take some more weeks. I'll start doing this as soon as I've finished the changes to the DIO pages. Please look forward to it! More news? Yes, one more thing. We soon will have another journalist. He'll only look after the news so I can focus on the artist pages and HTML. I'll also start the contest soon, Kassandra did a spelling check for me and now I only have to make a HTML version of it! Expect it soon! Ahh.... Life is.. weird. On moment you're so bussy and almost deperessed, the other moment you're very happy. At the moment I couldn't be happier.
