Gackt also said that if Hyde was a girl, he would have been in love with him. <3 * Gackt is next to a musician also a model, and actor in several commercials, TV dramas and movies. * He used to smoke a lot but quitted in 2006 <3 Gackt's live: We should thank Gackt for writing an autobiography because this is how we know almost everything about him. So I’ll give you a short talk about his live here and if you want to know more you can find a translation of his autobiography here. When Gackt was little he was forced to play the piano. As a seven-year old boy he got his first meeting with death. He almost drowned in the Okinawa sea. After this accident he says he can talk with those who are passed away and that he can hear things normal people cannot hear. When he was ten he had to go to a hospital what he called “a prison”. He came on the section where all terminal children are and it was terrible. When he made a new friend it would die a few days later. He wanted to escape from the hospital and discovered that imitating “normal people” would help him. When he started doing that he was sent home so from that time he would imitate people who were “normal”. When Gackt was 14 years old he discovered that music playing could be fun. He learned to know the drums and was attracted by the violent sound of them. He also started to play drum and practised in a studio. Though he didn’t want to play in a bad because he thought bands were stupid. One day he had seen a very cool live performance and he was really impressed by the guitarist. In the studio he asked one of the people if they knew who that guitarist was and one of them said “me”. Gackt couldn’t believe it so the guitarist took him to his house to show Gackt it was really him. That is how Gackt met YOU, his best friend. He and YOU formed the band Cain’s Feel with Gackt on drums and later on vocals. 
A few years later Gackt was introduced to Malice Mizer’s co-founder Mana-sama. Mana-sama brought him to Közi and the three of them talked a bit together and as (almost) all of you know, Gackt became Malice Mizer’s new vocalist. Some say Gackt became popular because of Malice Mizer, some say Malice Mizer became popular because of Gackt. I think it’s a bit of both. In 1999 Gackt left Malice Mizer and released his own singles just a few months later. This was the beginning of a very successful career. Though he’s more famous for his looks than for his music, he’s known over the whole world! Gackt is one of those artists from who you can clearly see that he has grown. With the years he got more and more talented and now I'm not only talking about singing. Because he hates losing he's always practising new things. He has traveled a lot and seen a lot in his life. Just take a look at the work he made in the beginning and the things he makes now. The way he talks, the way he behaves. It clearly shows he's grown up! ^_^ |
